UtstÃ¤llningen gestaltar med rÃ¶rliga fysiska ljudobjekt och med video och textverk ett mÃ¶te mellan tre av fem floder frÃ¥n Hades: COCYTOS (Klagans flod), LETHE (glÃ¶mskans flod) och PHLEGETHON (En flod av eld). De ingÃ¥r i serien fem floder i The Rivers of Hades. Floden Acheron (dÃ¶dens flod) har tidigare visats pÃ¥ Tegen2.

ongoing and upcoming exhibitions

it has been quiet on the website for quite a long while but finally there are some updates.

there is currently a group exhibition focusing on the Swedish conceptiual art at Kalmar konstmuseum. The piece 1977.11.22-2007.11.22 is part of this exhibition.

There is an upcoming solo exhibition at Galleroben/Fylkingen with opening on the evening on the 28th of October. The piece SuihkulÃ¤hde will be shown.

A completely new piece will be shown at a group exhibition in Jerusalem between the 5th and 10th of December. During this time there will also be a live performance. More information to come on this.

“…En hel del av kandidaternas verk rÃ¶r sig kring en vardagsmagi, som Ã¶msom hakar in i ett stÃ¶rre sammanhang, Ã¶msom fÃ¶rblir en personlig angelÃ¤genhet. Mathias Josefson presterar ett av hela utstÃ¤llningens mest fascinerande verk, en ljudinstallation byggd pÃ¥ temat Hades fem floder. Josefson har gjort en â€flodâ€ per studieÃ¥r, och vi Ã¤r nu framme vid den tredje floden, Lethe, som i den grekiska mytologin var floden vars vatten gjorde att de dÃ¶da glÃ¶mde jordelivet. I Josefsons fÃ¶rtÃ¤tade ljudvÃ¤rld absorberas man och blir till ett med en upplevelse som Ã¤r helt a-visuell. FÃ¶rmodligen en bra slutpunkt fÃ¶r en utstÃ¤llning som erbjuder ett rejÃ¤lt visuellt fyrverkeri.”
